Florida Weather: Beautiful… But Tricky

There’s no denying that Florida is one of the most stunning places to say “I do.” Between the beaches, gardens, and sunsets, it’s paradise for photography and celebration. But when it comes to planning your wedding day, the weather can be your best friend or your biggest stress factor.


From June through early October, Florida brings intense heat, heavy humidity, and unpredictable storms. We’ve seen grooms faint mid-ceremony, guests scatter for cover, and outdoor receptions completely rearranged due to downpours.

If we had to choose, January and February are our favorite months to capture weddings and events in Florida.

The weather is calm, the lighting is gorgeous, and there’s a sense of peace in the air. It’s the time of year when couples can truly relax — no rushing, no sweating, no worrying — just living the moments as they happen.
